Wilsoni's BBC Playlister Playlist - 28/08/2015

Here's your lot from August. Bit of 1st World Problem this month as the BBC updated the iPlayer Radio app and removed the alarm function (click that link and read the comments, if you're interested - I'm not the only person who was a bit miffed about it), so I'd been having a hard time listening during the week 'till they brought it back. Good thing it's all about Funky Saturday - Huey, Gilles, and Craig Charles.

Anyway, a lot of classics in this month's playlist - Rick James, AWB, Esther Williams... a few I got hipped to from playing GTA in Uni from the likes of The Pointer Sisters, Galaxy... Some selections from the week David Lynch was on promoting his curation of the Meltdown Festival on the Southbank... And one of my all-time favs in the form of "Skin Tight" by the Ohio Players.

Pick of the month - it's gotta be "We Continue" by Dam-Funk. The album's due to drop on September 4th.
